When our family first moved to Mesa, we knew that we needed to find a regular pet sitter for when we travel (sometimes once a month). I did a quick search on our options... and found that a brick and mortar boarding place was not only going to be more than $150 per day for our two pups, but that they'd be in their crates in an unfamiliar place most of the time. So I continued our search and found Annmarie, who would come to our home several times a day to let our pups out, play with them, feed and water them and also do pup-poo clean up! So we set up a consultation to have her come to our home to meet us and our pups! It was apparent, she was a dog person! Not only did they love her but we felt comfortable with her coming to care for our pups while we were away. Another bonus, I found out that she used to come to our home, prior to us moving in, to care for the previous owners pets- it was just meant to be 🙂

I 100% recommend Annmarie and have already to those looking. Trustworthy, reliable and great with our pups!

I’ve been using them for the past few years. I have two kitties and one is Epileptic and requires meds and feedings twice daily. Annemarie Reinke has been caring for our dogs Topper and Jax since we moved here a little over a year ago. We have rescued dogs for over 30 years and we have never had a dog sitter anything like her. She had developed an incredible relationship with our two dogs to the point that when she comes over they come up to her immediately to get her attention. I call her the dog whisperer. Our older dog Topper is a thirteen and a half year old Long Haired Shilo Shepherd. He is at a point now where his hips are going and other challenges. He had surgery yesterday and she came over to see how he was doing. She is an incredibly caring and with great integrity to the point that we have become very good friends. When we go out of town she stays at our home with no worry. Bottom line I can’t give her a recommendation that does her justice. You can’t do any better!!!!

Frequently asked questions

Can you take care of my pets if I’m away for an extended period of time?

Yes, we offer a 15-minute visit to fulfill your pet needs. We request you to leave plenty of food, medication, toys, litter, treats, paper towels, leashes, your veterinarian's contact number, and your contact number. You need to leave detailed information on how your pet is fed, walked, and more. Please ensure your key works with the lock efficiently.

Can you spend the night with my pets?

We do offer over night stays upon request.

Do you board animals while I'm away?

No, we live in a neighborhood that does not allow boarding.

Where do you offer services?

We reside in the Las Sendas community in the most northeastern part of Mesa. Please reach out for our service locations. Also in the surrounding areas of North East mesa .

Please call we do go out to many other areas in the valley. Examples Scottsdale, fountain hills, Gold canyon and eastmark.

Is it possible for you to come a few times during the week while I'm away?

We are very flexible and offer our daily visits however, we customize each service and schedule to fit our clients needs and wants.

Do you take care of other animals as well apart from dogs and cats?

We have experience with reptiles, turtles, hermit crabs, fish, guinea pigs, and more. All you need to do is leave detailed descriptions of food, care, and behavior.

My pets can be aggressive with strangers. Can you visit my house before you come to sit?

We come to your home at least once before you leave because animals that see us talking to their owners understand we are not a threat to them. However, if your pet has threatening behavior such as charging or snarling, we may have to reassess if we can help you.

Do you walk dogs?

Yeah, we do. However in summer time walks are given per clients request as summer temperatures sometime reach 122 degrees. The asphalt and concrete might scorch your pet paws and cause serious blistering.

How much do you charge?

For a single visit, we start at 25 dollars per day. Please contact us to learn more about over night prices.

There is a surcharge for all major holidays of $20 including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and Easter day.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Security Deposit: You must pay a security deposit of 50% of the anticipated charges for overnight services at least thirty days prior to the scheduled commencement of services (the "Start Date").

Refund of Security Deposit: This depends on how many days before the sTart Date you cancel:

More than 30 days: 100% refund
Between 11 and 29 days: 50% refund
10 or fewer days: No Refund

Visit Cancellation Policy: If scheduled trip visits are cancelled fewer than 3 days before the start date, 50% of total fee will be due to the provider.

Right of Refusal: Provider reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.
